News Reporting

Students entering grades 5-8 can enroll in our News Reporting course, where they will get to live the life of a professional news reporter! This course covers: press release writing, on-site interviewing, live broadcasting, body language and public speaking, and independent news broadcasting in the professional studio. After one week of intensive training, students will become more confident and agile public speakers..

What we offer

WCFC provides 2 snacks and a lunch for each full day camper. Campers dine family-style while sitting with their group and counselors. Special dietary needs and allergies can bring own lunch. Lunch menu will be announced soon!

What to bring

It is important that your child comes to camp after having received a good night’s sleep as well as a healthy breakfast in order to ensure for a fun, safe and energetic day. Our staff wants your child to get the most out of what our camp has to offer. Campers should be dressed in comfortable clothing.
