- Inspirited Art (19 century Paris Impressionism Study)
Description: In our Painting class, we will study together from 19 century Impressionism artists, like Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, and other master pieces. Impressionist painting characteristics include relatively small, thin, yet visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities (often accentuating the effects of the passage of time), ordinary subject matter, inclusion of movement as a crucial element of human perception and experience, and unusual visual angles.
In our study, we will learn color mix with brush stroke, we share knowledge with how to translate daily landscape view into painting language, what is the function of color and light, how color can influent our sensibility. By learning from these master pieces, we are looking forward to let students enjoy the beauty of art and natural, open their imagination in a visual way, get certain knowledge and skill of using oil color, acrylic color and different art materials. We also put our outstanding students works in exhibition and show public, to give our students a more open and professional environment to learn and experience art world.

Description: Advanced Art class is for the kids who are interested in art and concept. Kids will learn advanced sketching skills such as line drawing and painting. We are going to look at art history and learn the style and concept from famous artist. Students will develop their own style. (Intermediate Art required)
Material: pencils, easer, graphic pen, oil paint, color pencils, paper, canvas/panel, brushes, oil paint palette, Aluminum Palette Cups, gesso, gamsol, linseed oil
