WCFC Post - News Reporting, Magazine Creation Extra! Extra! Read all about it! WCFC Post is for the roving reporter under your roof! In Session 1, News Reporting will teach students how to “stick to the facts”. Young newshounds will sniff out the who, what, when, where, why and how of every story, getting the scoop on center news, local news, national news, and even international news! As importantly, our “newsies” will alternate as writers, reporters, camera operators and boom operator, enjoying the full, news broadcasting experience. In Session 2, Magazine Creation, students will elevate this journalism know-how and explore the layout elements and graphic arts of print media. Here, your student will relish the latest in digital technology and even painting.

9:00am Full Day campers check in. Campers participate in ice break activities.

What we offer

WCFC provides 2 snacks and a lunch for each full day camper. Campers dine family-style while sitting with their group and counselors. Special dietary needs and allergies can bring own lunch. Lunch menu will be announced soon!


What to bring

It is important that your child comes to camp after having received a good night’s sleep as well as a healthy breakfast in order to ensure for a fun, safe and energetic day. Our staff wants your child to get the most out of what our camp has to offer. Campers should be dressed in comfortable clothing.
