Basic Drawing and Painting Camp

In this camp, students will learn the fundamentals of art - line, shape, color, form, value, texture though the use of basic drawing and painting skills. Students will fill a sketchbook with practice drawings and preparation for more complex drawing and painting assignments. Media that will be used in the class includes, but is not limited to, pencil, oil pastel, watercolor, acrylic painting, and marker. Students will use the knowledge learned, creativity, and imagination to express themselves.


Advanced Drawing and Painting Camp

This camp is designed for students with previous drawing experience and established skills. Students will focus exclusively on drawing and painting materials and techniques. Students will explore composition, proportion, perspective, and value, while building your observational skills. Students will also be introduced to contemporary art practice and ideas, and have the opportunity to create self-directed work.

What we offer

WCFC provides 2 snacks and a lunch for each full day camper. Campers dine family-style while sitting with their group and counselors. Special dietary needs and allergies can bring own lunch. Lunch menu will be announced soon!


What to bring

It is important that your child comes to camp after having received a good night’s sleep as well as a healthy breakfast in order to ensure for a fun, safe and energetic day. Our staff wants your child to get the most out of what our camp has to offer. Campers should be dressed in comfortable clothing.
